One day a man is walking down the street and falls into a big hole. Its dark and cold in there and he says, how did I get here, this is not my fault. It takes him a very long time to get out. The next day he walks down the same street and falls into the same big hole. Again he says its not his fault and again it takes a long time to climb out. The third day he walks down the street, falls in the hole. But this time he says, this is my fault. He gets out easily. The fourth day he walks down the street and walks around the hole. The fifth day, he walks down a different street. This man sounds like an idiot at first. Can't he see the big hole in the ground? But how many times have we done the same thing? Changing jobs just to end up with the same one we didnt want in the first place. Ending up in the same types of relationships, friendships or romantic. As hard as it is to believe, we've all done it. Until hopefully one day you see the light and you make small changes. You walk around the hole. If you have to walk around the hole for a few weeks, at least one day it will hit you to keep making changes and then you go down a different street. Maybe it takes courage and we think we dont have the courage that it takes. Maybe its comfortable walking down the same street. The courage is there. I believe. In all of us. We just have to find it.
